1. Necro Augment For Dmg Or Life Expectancy
  2. Necro Augment For Dmg Or Lifetime
BTW how do I get a life/minion damage jewel? I used a pristine fossil and the fossil that does minion stuff and got no life stat, but I did get a bonus to projectile speed?

Getting life and minion damage on Cobalt jewels is pretty hard, since they're both prefixes.
Easiest way to get something decent is to roll Ghastly Eye jewels with alterations. Alteration/Augment until you get +xx maximum life (prefix) and % increased Minion Damage if you used a Minion Skill recently (suffix), then regal.
There are a lot of other useful affixes on Ghastly Eye jewels that could be worth keeping:
- Minions have chance to blind on hit
- Minions have chance to taunt on hit (doesn't work with SRS, but zombies, golems and spectres will taunt)
- High added physical damage roll is pretty good for SRS

Ah, thank you. That would explain it, as well as my lack of knowledge re prefixes and suffixes.

Hey again, was checking again ^^
Your build does look a lot better, except for one detail:
You dropped your curse on hit setup. Dont do that.
Here is why and how to do it:
Use any lightning skill like Orb of Storms, Arc or Ball Lightning, link it to Curse on Hit and Ele weakness curse.
Its not just to apply a curse to have your SRS deal more dmg that way. Its also to trigger the Elemental Equilibrium keystone on your tree.
You as a player can trigger EE, your minions cant trigger it but they can benefit from it. If you read the EE keystone it basically says, if you (the player) do hit an enemy with a lightning skill, then the mobs lightning resistance will increase at the expense of the mobs cold and fire resistance.
Your SRS deal cold dmg for the most part (thx to hatred and grip of the council), also a lot of fire dmg but no lightning dmg.
Which means increasing the mobs lightning res by hitting it with a lightning spell doesnt impact you at all, the cold and fire res reduction however will have very positive impact and its amplified even more by ele weakness curse.
This is a huge chunk of your dmg and you really want to have that.
Easiest way to achieve that is moving flame dash into your boots and using the free 3 link in your shield for lightning spell + curse on hit + curse.
You will feel the increase of power immediately.
Personally I do prefer Ball Lightning because it has a decent AoE and will pierce through mob packs, hitting almost everyone in that pack and will trigger EE + curse them.
Orb of Storms is good too, but you have to get close to utilize it while Ball Lightning can easily be casted from afar.
Oh and dont lvl that lightning spell up. You are not using it for the dmg anyways and if you do lvl it up, you might kill yourself in ele reflect maps.
Unfortunately your new wand does add cold dmg to spells, which will trigger EE too and buff mobs cold res rather than debuffing it. So thats bad news. You dont want fire or cold dmg to spells anywhere on your gear.
If you are a gambling person, slam an Orb of Anulment onto the wand and hope for the best. If not, replace it whenever you can.
Right now this wand is great for automating some stuff, but it does ruin your dmg output.
Cheers

Oh no, I didn't drop it. I need to rearrange my gems and sockets a bit so I can keep using it. I had to stop partway through everything because of real life stuff getting in the way. I will finish it up tonight and the curse on hit will be back.
I just need to arrange to move the Flame Dash to my boots and set up the shield for the curse on hit. Which...you advise as well. I had Orb of Storms but I'm not thrilled with it, and I like your suggestion to use ball lightning - which is also nice to use to kill containers.
But yeah, once I set up the new wand I wasn't able to resocket the curse on hit setup and then I had to make like three phone calls and arrange a trip to urgent care. But thank you again, I do appreciate it. Esp for the tip to not level up the gem. I hadn't thought of that.

Hi,
I took a look at your Necro a have a little note:
Your flasks 2-4 have no second mod.
You could add one with an orb of augmentation.
If the result is bad you could alt 'spam' to get ok mods.
(I do this on 20% quality flasks only.)
In most cases you just need 3-8 alts to do this.
Strong other variants are to add a suffix with a bestiary recipe (though I think they were suffixes already) or a prefix with a Catarina mod by using a workbench (the recipe has to be known).
EDIT:
Catarina is a suffix too.

Thanks, I totally forgot! I just added the affixes in the bestiary as I was in the middle of a map when Orbaal pointed out my bad second flask. I had to change two other flasks as well and was a bit rushed.

Okay, back home:
I fixed my flasks (not great mods but they're decent)
I fixed my sockets and switched from orb of storms to ball lightning
I ran Atoll at tier 14 with rare (but not corrupted) with +44% elemental resistance, +44% physical damage reduction, +434% critical strike chance, and +48% critical strike multiplier and everything melted. This new build is fantastically smooth compared to before. I'm really loving the desecrate - flesh offering - immortal call trigger on skill use stuff.
I know Orbaal advised Molten Shell but I have like 67 armor so that didn't seem like the right choice.
It does tend to preclude bone armor because shared guard cooldowns but honestly the survivability was so much higher even without using it. That is reliably having corpses for Feast of Flesh and the brief but reliable protection from immortal call seemed to be fine. I can also activate bone armor before initiating a fight so that's not a big deal, really.
Oh and the metamorph died faster than ever.
Will see how it does against Drox tomorrow.

Sounds good :)
Yeah I was advising molten shell, but immo call is fine too.
Pick whatever works for you. Nothing wrong with that.
Your jewels are way better now and you can always roll some more jewels, whenever you find some, hoping for an upgrade.
Speaking of upgrades:
If you can your hands on a Stygian Vise belt, you could socket another jewel in that belt. To get those, you have to successfully complete Abyssal cracks and hope for an Abyssal Depth at the end.
Even if the belt is terrible, keep it and roll it later when you do have the currency and can afford some crafting.
Or just buy one, works obviously too
Now once your AG´s lvl is good enough (natural lv17 + 3 from ascendancy and helmet), you could start equipping him.
Here are some budget options, so you can stash them away for later in case you get some of those dropped:
- Leer Cast helmet (dmg for allies)
- Dying Breath staff (dmg for allies)
- Ambus Charge chest (regen on hit)
- Meginords Vise gloves (regen)
- Southbound gloves (%life)
- Victarios Flight boots (movespeed for allies)
The idea is to give him some offensive stuff to buff allies while also providing a good baseline of defense for him. Because if he dies, the gear is gone.
Which is why I like to link him to minion life and meat shield.
This combo is pretty beefy and he will survive a lot of nonsense, but he still isnt immortal.
Overall those items shouldnt cost more than 5c, but it will increase your clearspeed quite a bit. Not just because of the extra dmg, but because of the extra movespeed. Minion movespeed is hard to come by and is limiting your clearspeed the most.

Yeah, I keep thinking I should level up a second SRS gem so I can make it 20% quality for greater movement speed.
I'd rather not just do that with my existing gem because I don't want to try to clear red maps with a leveling gem.
Thank you again for advice. I really had no idea where to go with AG, just to wait until the gem's level was high enough to actually use anything.
I do have one or two stygian vice belts (one and two socket but I may have sold the one socket at some point) somewhere in my stash. I'm leery at the moment of giving up my current belt's buffs but at some point it seems like it'll be a good plan.
I've had about three abyssal depths so far? I also got some boots with an abyssal socket somewhere.

S11 Rathmas GR99 (Par 911, 1,59M DPS, 0 augment´s). Im using the endless walk combo. I see your using coe and diff ammy is it that much better with coe bc the necro only had three types of dmg poison physical and cold? I prefer Lacunis as bracers and on the passives Swift Harvesting and Bone Prison over Extended Servitude and Life from.
