A Tesla cannon was first planned for inclusion in Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel 2, as a 'high-powered mass-cannon throwing tessellated plasma forward in an orgy of death and destruction', assembled from parts found during the game (including a Tesla coil). Tesla's own design for such a weapon was the Teleforce, a particle beam weapon. Fallout 76 Perks are special abilities traditional to the Fallout series, that give a unique bonus to players while active. These bonuses are so unique that Weapons usage and playstyles become more reliant on the abilities unlocked by perks in the later stages of the game. Fallout 76 Perks introduces a new approach to the Perk system to previous Fallout games, giving players the option to mix.
